Abstract photography offers me an opportunity to ‘play’ while exploring the intimate qualities of a chosen subject matter. With the use of colour, I often seek an emotional connection between the intimacy of a particular subject and, by using a variety of techniques, the transformation of its ‘real life’ representation to one of surreal.
